Description

One of the most iconic bars in Belfast, the Crown Bar is one of those landmark buildings impossible to ignore.

The tiles, the architectural features, the stylish sign writing on the building that hasn’t changed for years, it all makes this a building worth painting.  Now whether I’ve managed to do it justice or not is for you to judge but I tried to give the sense that this building has a life and a colourful one at that.

Painted in ink and watercolour on a heavyweight acid free rough textured watercolour paper and triple mounted to give a sense of depth.  The painting has been finished with a black gallery style frame and has an overall size including the frame of 17 x 21 inches.
