ABOUT US
GILLIAN BOYD ART
My art journey restarted in 2018 when I attended some local craft and artisan fairs. Then Covid happened and everything stopped, so like many others I took the plunge and decided to make a change and leave my office job. I applied for St George's Market and here I am. I have a stall at St George's Market in Belfast and attend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
You can find my stall outside Mamo Patisserie on Friday's and outside the Pharmacy in Oxford St. on Saturday and Sunday.
I do love to paint and still can't quite believe I get to do it for a living now. I paint mainly in ink & watercolour but do also use acrylics in all their various forms from spray can to tube paint and inks. I graduated from the University of Ulster too many years ago with a degree in Art & Design, so I do feel fortunate to be back doing what I love.
I have met some lovely people in the last two years at the market and my paintings have travelled to many parts of the world as well as adorning the homes of really supportive locals who keep calling in to see what's new.
Who knows what is next for GillianBoydArt but for now thank you for your interest and I hope to see you soon.
Kind regards
Gillian
